 Leaves Grow

The barren branches

birth bold green buds who bask

in beams of bright sun

Leaves Flourish

Flora flaunts finery

yet succumbs to feebleness

faced with fiery heat

Leaves Fall

They shed like slow sobs

suffering in silence as

each leaf sails to soil
